STG MTDM Classical MusBac / MMus: Introduction

Overview

The Combined Degree Program (CDP): STG, Bachelor of Music, Music, Stream in Music Technology and Digital Media: Classical / STG, Master of Music in Music Performance, Field in Music Technology and Digital Media is designed for students who are interested in applying digital and other technologies to music creation and performance.

Students earn a Bachelor of Music (MusBac) and a Master of Music (MMus) at the Faculty of Music, St. George (STG) campus. Distinct advantages include early application to the MMus; students interested in this option apply in Year 3 of the MusBac for conditional admission to the MMus.

This CDP permits the completion of both degrees in six years with 1.0 credit (full-course equivalent [FCE]) that may be counted towards both the undergraduate and graduate degrees. Students admitted to the CDP will follow the academic path to completion outlined below.

Students will first be able to apply to this CDP in Fall 2029.

For a general description of CDPs, see General Regulations section 1.4.3.
